Notice you are agreeing to this contract if you buy a puppy from Ashland Miniature Australian Shepherds whether you sign it or not.

The Buyer shall provide the dog with adequate food, fresh water at all times, shelter, affection, love, and medical care, including all necessary shots and medication recommended by the veterinarian.
The Buyer shall provide the dog with veterinary care upon sickness, disease, or injury, and shall take it to a veterinarian at least once a year for an annual health examination and routine vaccinations.
The Buyer shall provide the dog with humane care and maintain it in accordance with all current and future state, county, and municipal laws and ordinances where the Buyer resides.
The Buyer shall provide the dog with a fully fenced yard or other humane means of exercise.
The Buyer shall keep the dog as a household pet and shall never use it for breeding without the Breeder's consent.
If the dog cannot be kept by the Buyer, the Buyer shall notify the Breeder immediately. The dog shall not be sold, transferred, or given to any individual or to any retail or wholesale establishment for the purpose of sale or resale to the public.
The Buyer is responsible for any and all transportation and cost associated with the puppy or dog.
The Buyer agrees that the Breeder is in no way liable or responsible for any damage, accident, or injury resulting from the dog during transport.
The Buyer agrees to pay the Breeder any and all expenses, including court costs and reasonable attorney fees, in enforcing the terms and provisions of the Contract.
Should the Buyer be unable or unwilling to fulfill any of the above provisions, the Buyer agrees to return the dog to the Breeder at the Breeder's request. Should the Buyer refuse to return the dog, the Buyer hereby authorizes the Breeder to pick up and remove the dog from the Buyer's control.

The Buyer has been notified of the current medical history of the above said puppy/dog including the current status of immunity.  The buyer agrees to have the above said puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours from the date the buyer assumes custody of the above said puppy/dog.

Ashland Australian Shepherds strongly recommends that the buyer attend obedience classes with puppy/dog and provide proper socialization opportunities after all immunizations have been given. Seller shall not be held responsible for acts of puppy destruction due to buyers negligence as it is the buyers responsibilities to provide a safe and secure environment once the pup leaves the seller’s home. It is also recommended that buyer provide pet with proper collar and identification tags even after being microchipped.

The seller will in NO way will guarantee against ANY genetic disorders or health issues of a puppy/dog if it was not a product of Ashland Australian Shepherds breeding program.  Ashland Australian Shepherds  is not responsible for the results of a puppy/dog from an outside breeding.

The seller is in no way responsible for the effects of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) or the effects of any other stress related illness due to the puppy/dogs travels. 

If buyer does not continue the puppy or adult dog on the NuVet Vitamin Supplement program that the seller has already put into place, the seller is NOT responsible in anyway for any health issues of any sort at anytime during the puppy or dogs life.

If the buyer continues the puppy on the NuVet Plus Vitamins Ashland Aussies will offer the buyer a complete genetic defect guarentee for up to 5 years of the puppy's life.  ( NuVet will notify us if you continue the vitamin supplement program with them, and will also notify us if you discontinue the vitamin supplement program ).  This guarentee was put into place for the over all health and lifespan of the puppy.  NuVet Vitamins have been proven to heal hip displacia, cateracts, and reverse tumors and cancer.

This health guarantee only applies to genetic disorders found within 12 months from the date that the buyer assumes custody of the above said puppy/dog.  In the event of a genetic disorder that is considered serious enough to order euthanization of the above said puppy/dog by two licensed veterinarians one of which is to be chosen by the seller, then the seller will assume the responsibility of replacing the above said puppy/dog with one of like quality.

This health guarantee does not cover any parasites, internal or external as this is a treatable condition. The seller assumes no financial responsibility other than the above listed limited guarantee (including transport of any kind)  once the above said puppy/dog leaves the custody of Ashland Aussies.

The seller does not in any way guarantee that the above said puppy/dog is or will be show or breeding quality.  There is no guarantee that the above said puppy/dog will produce any offspring.  If the dog is being sold as bred we do not guarentee the size, quality, or over all health of the litter just that the dog is bred.

In the event of a third party sale of the above said puppy/dog this contract is VOID.

This contract will only be valid while the breeder Ashland Aussies is breeding the above said dogs.  If Ashland Aussies should conclude the breeding of the above said dogs for any reason, this contract is VOID.



This agreement was made and will take effect on  and was made between Ashland Miniature Australian Shepherds

referred to herein as the seller/breeder and between                     referred to herein as the buyer.





As evidence by my signature below I, the buyer have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this contract.
