The Miniature Australian Shepherd is a sturdy hard-working versatile breed with superior intellect and a natural herding instinct. Despite their name they do not originate in Australia but are a product of the U.S.A. Over the years they have become indispensable to farmers, ranchers, and many many families.
Question: What is the difference in a Miniature & Toy Australian Shepherd?
Answer: The only difference is their size if they are of good quality they should have the same confirmation as a Standard Aussie.
Question: What Colors do Mini Aussies Come in?

Question: How Big do Mini Aussies get?
Answer: Mini Aussies range from 14-17 inches tall some registries will accept a Mini up to 18 inches. Toys are 13 inches and under some registries consider a toy 14 inches and under.
Question: Do Mini Aussies make good pets for children?
Answer: Yes absolutely, in my experience my Aussies have been very well behaved if properly trained, and have an amazing temperament around children and even with smaller children. They are also great with other animals (if socialized).
Question: Are Mini Aussies ok to have inside the house?
Answer: Yes they can make a wonderful house pet if properly trained, and in my opinion the Mini Aussie is a great size for the house.
Question: Do Mini Aussies shed?
Answer: It really depends on their coat some shed worse than others and some don't shed very much at all. But yes, they do shed.
Question: Are your Mini Aussies Registered and do you sell them with papers?
Answer: Yes they are registered with the American Stock Dog Registry. The AKC does not recognize the Mini Aussies as of right now, and my puppies/dogs will all come with registration papers.
Question: Do you sell your puppies/dogs with breeding rights?
Answer: Typically we do sell them with breeding rights for an additional charge of $200.00.
Quesion: Do you guarentee your Puppies/Dogs health in any way or do you guarentee that they are show/breeding quality?
Answer: I do have a health guarantee, but I am limited on what I can guarantee. It is very important that you take the time to read my Puppy/Adult Dog Contract and remember you are agreeing to my contract if you buy a puppy/dog from me even if you do not sign it.
Question: Do you ship your puppies?
Answer: Yes we do ship on airlines, the price is usually around $300.00 that includes the crate which is yours to keep (they are a great help when it comes to potty training) and also a health certificate.
Question: Where are you located incase I want to pick-up my puppy?
Answer: We are located in Pocahontas Arkansas (It is in the Northeast corner of Arkansas). We are about 2 hours north of Little Rock, 2 hours northwest of Memphis, TN. and about 4 hours south of St. Louis, MO.
Question: Can I come over to see all your dogs and puppies?
Answer: I'm sorry but we do not allow any visitors, mostly for disease purposes I do not want for my healthy dogs and puppies to be exposed to any harmful or potentially fatal diseases.
Question: Ok I would prefer to pick-up my puppy from you, but it's such a far drive would you be willing to meet me somewhere?
Answer: Sure I have no problem with meeting you so long as it's within reason. If it's 50 to 125 miles from Pocahontas I do charge $50.00 and that is simply for the gas to get there. Also I will do my best to work with you on a specific day or time.
Question: Ok I want to buy a puppy what do I do next?
Answer: Send me a deposit and tell me which puppy you want. I do require for you to print a deposit contract form (you can find this here on my Puppy Deposit Contract page) & just mail it to me signed along with your deposit money. (Sorry for any inconveniences.)
